The room had been cleared out by the Lords as they all returned to their daily lives. The new laws he had laid down hopefully would change the course of the the violent behavior happening in his city. New Orleans had been the most peaceful city minus a few mishaps every now and then but Xavier was up to his neck in violent deaths and his own Executioner was not being helpful. The only vampire that was living the dream was Christoff who already had marked his Executioner. He planned on marrying her if anything. A weird phase was happening around the cities, the Masters were becoming entranced with the Executioners, was that normal? Sighing, he looked down and he and when she gave him the look, he only leaned back.

"Is there something on your mind, love?" He questioned. "Because when you get that look it has something to do with when I marked you."

"Yes, I recall that." He just perked a rather annoyed brow in her direction. "I can't recall getting the bullet out to be too pleasant."

Karayan watched her sit in one of the seats as he took one across from her. Though he didn't sit down, he just leaned against the armrest of the chair and crossed his arms over his chest. Looking down, he watched her gently but didn't respond to be being the vampire executioner of his city. "Honestly, I do not care. It seems my friend, Christoff is marrying his own Executioner... that surprised me the most figuring his nature."

"Yes, well next time I kiss you if that happens we will have trouble." He looked down at where the scar had been as he crossed his arms. He wore a black shir that fitted his muscular frame as he cracked his neck. "Nakita is special. She did that to her own Executioner, he has killed more vampires than I know."

Karayan watched her swig a portion of the thirty-year old scotch that costed him about 2 grand for that bottle alone. He only shook his head in amusement as he pushed himself up from the chair and walked around the table. The papers were scattered across the table as he started to gather everything into one folder. He was already contracting a headache which was difficult for a vampire his age but it was common enough with running a city. This city held more folklore and clans for underground clubs that celebrated the kind of thing he lived everyday. They believed they were vampires but honestly they had no idea. He would not be caught dead at one of those parties...the blood they exchanged there was disgusting. No vampire would be so liberal.

He heard the ringtone as only growled at the modern evil device she made him use. He didn't know why he needed it. He had his own telepathy to deal with. He watched her mouth twitch before she snapped the phone shut and slipped it back into her pocket. She was annoyed and he didn't know what to say. Someone was causing his city to crumble beneath him and he was going to close it down once and for all.

"Well. I guess that means you're staying at my place until I have it refurnished." Karayan only shrugged his shoulders.

"Alright. I will see you back at my place." He nodded.

There was no need to follow her. She could take care of herself, that she already proved once when he had tried to protect her. Well, she actually made the situation worse by threatening another Master Vampire as Karayan tried to explain that he was becoming apart of the alliance. The Master Vampire was Xavier, known for his foul temper but he was not getting through to his city's executioner so he was resorting to desperate measures. It was still good to have the Master Vampires on the same page. Sighing, he closed the book and dragged on his black leather jacket over his shoulders before walking outside. He watched her car take off before something behind him said his name.

When he turned around, he rolled his eyes and rubbed one of his temples. "Nakita, you forever will find some way to annoy me further..."
